GeneBio & KOOPrime Partner to Distribute Phenyx Throughout Asia Geneva, Switzerland, and Singapore - June 22, 2005 - Geneva Bioinformatics (GeneBio) S.A. today announced a partnership agreement with KOOPrime Pte Ltd, one of the first software companies to provide component-based solutions and services to the life sciences industry. Under the terms of the agreement, KOOPrime will distribute GeneBio's Phenyx software platform in Singapore, Malaysia, China and Taiwan. GeneBio's Phenyx is a software platform for the identification and characterization of proteins and peptides from mass spectrometry data. Developed by GeneBio in collaboration with the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics (SIB) and incorporating the true probabilistic and flexible scoring system OLAV, Phenyx is specifically designed to meet the concurrent demands of high-throughput MS data analysis and dynamic high quality results assessment.
