Precompiled Databases

PLEASE NOTE: You must first request the download of the software as mentioned above before going ahead and downloading the databases.

Aldente works on its own database format; this is why you have to download the precompiled databases for Aldente. The precompiled databases are updated at each release of UniProt/Swiss-Prot and UniProt/TrEMBL, about every two weeks.

Once downloaded, copy these files to the directory "C:/Program Files/sib/Aldente/databases", created by default with Aldente's installation.

You can subscribe to be informed by mail of theses releases. Note that you will need a valid Aldente license to be able to use the software with theses databases.
